On one hand, I realize that it\u2019s pretty much so good of a story\u2026 so transparent, that plenty of folks are going to roll their eyes and dismiss it. Honestly, though, it just hit me really &#8220;hard in the feels\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The movie is <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt6264654\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Free Guy<\/a><\/em>, and I knew nothing about it before I watched it just now. In another post I should go into why the words \u201cspear carrier\u201d fit so well here. That&#8217;s for another time, though. Incidentally, anyone who can identify where I got the term &#8220;spear carrier&#8221; is likely to become a lifelong friend (or a much better one).
